A little harmonica
It’s been a hot minute since I played something so I thought I’d share.
Heard a reel from @missmalindakat this morning on a cover from what we olds might call a contemporary song, but I’m super chuffed that y’all are rediscovering great songs from the past and breathing in new life into them!
#DiamondsAndRust by Joan Baez … wow!! just, wow!! If you don’t already follow Malinda, please do… Here’s my goofy #harmonica cover because as most of you know, if I don’t play out a song in my head it’ll rattle around there forever. I just need to get the whole thing out… it’ll happen eventually.
Update on my dog, Zoey: she had a lump that was growing on her shoulder, so we both decided it was best to have it removed… she had surgery yesterday and is now pretty much back to herself after spending most of the day yesterday stoned out of her gourd. She whined at me this morning because I was late to the bunny hunt! Her eyes are much more clear so that is that. Updates forthcoming.
And speaking of supporting musicians, Jill Fiore (@soundandfiore) is having a single release later this month, so if you are in or around NYC, consider buying tickets… (rumor has it she is learning to play the harmonica 😉 … so, encouragement all around)
