Sometimes we don’t need words… I’d like to say that little sculpture in my front yard isn’t all that significant, but I passed it four times a day walking my dog and made a point to look at it… really see it … every time. I know that 59 1/2 was an arbitrary marker of time, what was true for her didn’t have to be for me (we were only months apart) but it sure felt like an absolute thing. If I could get past 59 1/2 I’d be ok… maybe she felt the same way about 59… I’ll never know… anyway, I’m here on the edge of the 60s, willing you forward…
